About Us
RecycledPlasticPicnicTable.co.uk is owned and run by British Recycled Products.
We
aim to help local authorities, schools, businesses, social enterprise
and primary care trusts close the recycling loop by providing sustainable alternatives to traditional construction materials and maintenance-free outdoor furniture.
British Recycled Products is the trading arm of Green Refurb Limited, formed in March 2008.
We develop commercially viable construction products and outdoor furniture made from 100% British recycled waste,
concentrating on rubber and plastic, although we are currently
investigating recycled aggregates with a view to potentially supplying
blocks made from 80% recycled material later this year.
We're an
environmentally conscious, customer focused company, driven by the
desire to create new products and markets for British waste, saving it
from landfill and protecting British jobs.
Our ground-breaking main website is fast becoming a benchmark for our sector and includes a huge FAQs section, free educational downloads for schools, technical data and tooling information.

Clients and Collaborators We
are privileged to have a very wide, and fast growing, client base,
ranging from very large organisations like the Environment Agency, the
Nation Trust, ASDA, the City of London Corporation and the Ministry of
Defence, through a whole host of county, metropolitan and district
councils, schools and mid sized businesses, right down to individuals
buying Hebden 40s for their home driveways and small groups clubbing together to buy a single memorial bench for a departed friend.
They
have all helped greatly to keep hundreds of tons of British waste out
of landfill and to move the understanding of the many uses of recycled
products up the agenda.
Our educational downloads,
produced in conjunction with British Glass and British Steel and other
major industry leaders, together with other initiatives help us keep
momentum.
Business philosophy Focus on customer needs We
recognise and accept that change is a sure thing. This provides us with
the opportunity to be responsive to customer needs and underpins our
flexible approach to finding the best alternative to traditional
materials and processes.
Simply provide the best solution Business
decisions are seldom between what's right or wrong but rather, what's
good or best. With this in mind, we strive to provide the most
sustainable solution to the customer, balanced by a clear understanding
that value and quality must always be at the heart of our our
decision-making.
Ethics, people and planet We
support open communication at every level and conduct our business with
integrity and honesty. We have strong community links and support the Big Green Weekend, an annual event that encourages sustainable thinking, and Kerbside,
a local social enterprise that breaks down the barriers to employment
for those excluded from work opportunities and has pioneered doorstep
recycling.
