EnvironmentalFirstly, we do not believe that we can continue to bury vast amounts of plastic in landfill and the rate we have done in recents years. It is an incredible waste and we simply do not have the space.
Secondly, bollards, street furniture, construction materials, and their recycled raw ingredients are mainly made from HDPE which is quite heavy. This means that their transport is usually carbon intensive. For obvious reasons, we believe that the shorter, national rather than international, journey is less harmful to our environment.
Nearly all of our raw materials are sourced from within 60 miles of the factory.
EconomicWe believe we can all help our local, regional and national economies, particularly in these troubled times, by circulating revenue. By buying British Recycled Products our customers are supporting hard-working families in many strands of British industry, from the recycling companies and the production teams, to the factory office staff and the hauliers who make the deliveries.
